Community rules

reRobe only works because we look after it together. These aren't fine-print rules — they're the small courtesies that keep the wardrobe at CIC Berlin full of things people actually want, and keep it a good place to be.

The short version

  • Only contribute clean, wearable items — the kind of thing you'd happily hand to a friend.
  • Be honest about condition. A note about a small mark or a missing button helps the next person and keeps trust high.
  • Respect the space and the volunteers. Fold things back, keep the rack tidy, and say thanks.
  • Take what you'll genuinely wear, not everything that catches your eye. Leave room for others.
  • If a piece doesn't work out, bring it back or pass it on so it keeps circulating.
  • The hub code is for members standing at the rack. Please don't post it publicly or share it around.
  • Curators have the final say on whether an item is accepted and how it's valued. It's their judgement that keeps things fair.

A shared resource

Give as you'd receive

Imagine the member who takes your piece home. Contribute the quality and honesty you'd want to find yourself.

Keep it moving

The wardrobe stays alive when clothes flow through it. Wear what you take, and return what you don't.

Treat reRobe like the shared closet it is — and it'll keep giving back to everyone at CIC Berlin.
