How reRobe works
reRobe is a community wardrobe at CIC Berlin. Members bring clothes they no longer wear, earn points when a piece is accepted, and spend those points on something new-to-them from the rack. No money changes hands — shop now, pay never. Everything happens between the app and the physical wardrobe at CIC Berlin.
For contributors
Turning a piece you love but no longer wear into points takes just a few steps.
- Register or log in to your reRobe account.
- Add an item with clear photos and a few honest details about size, brand and condition.
- Drop the piece in the Pending Review area at CIC Berlin so a curator can find it.
- A curator reviews the item and gives it a fair points value.
- Once it's accepted, the points land in your balance instantly.
- Your piece goes up in the catalogue for the next member to discover.
For collectors
Found something you want? Here's how you take it home.
- Browse the CIC Berlin wardrobe online, or scan the QR code on the rack while you're there.
- Find the piece by its photo or its rack number.
- Tap Take this item.
- Log in and enter the CIC Berlin hub code — just ask a volunteer at the rack for it.
- Your points are deducted, the item becomes yours, and its spot on the rack frees up for the next contribution.
Points
When your item is accepted, you receive its full points value — nothing is skimmed off the top. Curators use a simple set of suggested tiers to keep valuations fair and consistent across the wardrobe.
- 5 pts — Basic
- 10 pts — Good
- 20 pts — Special
- 30 pts — Premium
- 50 pts — Iconic
Your point balance can never go negative — you can only take what you've earned.
